Magnificent at the Met's: Iman at The Costume Institute's American Woman Gala

Swaddled in slinky Prada and glittering Fred Leighton, supermodel Iman turned to celebrity makeup artist Sam Fine to created a sultry, modern 30's glam look, courtesy of her eponymous makeup line.

lips. Luxury Moisturizing Lipstick in Wild Thing; Luxury Lip Shimmer in High Drama.

hair. The 30s made an appearance in Iman's classic, wavy bun. It was pulled off her face and pinned back ever so elegantly, thanks to celebrity hairstylist Oscar James.

Queen Latifah's look at the American Idol Gives Back Event reminded me of a similar look she wore at her birthday party last year - very sexy and rock star glamorous. Celebrity makeup artist Monifah Mortis (who also did Queen's makeup for this year's BET Honors) said, "I wanted her beauty look to be sexy and funky, and translate to the young audience that was tuned in to last night’s show. Since Queen had an understated hairstyle, I wanted to have fun with her makeup and really glam it up."

face. "Since Queen had an understated hairstyle, I wanted to have fun with her makeup and really glam it up. For her face, Queen already had a gorgeous tan so to accentuate it I applied COVERGIRL Queen Collection Natural Hue Minerals Bronzer (Brown Bronze) to give her an extra healthy glow."

eyes. "To really communicate that rock star glam look, I created a colorful smoky eye on Queen with a dark green cream base. I then applied a light layer of a black cream shadow like COVERGIRL Smoky ShadowBlast in Onyx Smoke to really smoke it out and give her eye a smoldering look. To further accentuate her eyes, I added a tiny amount of purple cream shadow in the corner of her eyes like COVERGIRL Smoky ShadowBlast in Purple Plume to make them pop on camera. I then finished her eye look with two coats of COVERGIRL LashBlast Fusion mascara for dramatic lashes with length and volume."

cheeks. "To add some contouring and depth around Queen’s temples and cheekbones, I used COVERGIRL QueenCollection Natural Hue Minerals Pressed Powder in Ebony."

lips. "To complete Queen’s edgy American Idol look, I custom-blended a brownish rosy lip color and then applied a sheer layer of COVERGIRL ShineBlast Lip Gloss in Glimmer for a shimmery, high-shine lip look.”

nails. Celebrity manicurist Lisa Logan used the Ginger + Liz shade "New Money" on Queen Latifah. I wish I had a picture of her manicure but I'll keep searching. New Money is described as a "bluish teal green creme lacquer."

Vixen, Validated: Zoe Kravitz at the Beware the Gonzo Premiere

Last night, Zoe Kravitz made an appearance at the Beware the Gonzo Premiere at the 9th Annual Tribeca Film Festival. NARS Lead Stylist James Boehmer created a stunning look for Zoe Kravitz by using the following NARS products:

face. Boehmer prepped Kravitz's face with Pro Prime Skin Smoothing Face Prep. Then he applied NARS Sheer Matte Foundation in Barcelona. Any imperfections were concealed with NARS Concealer in Ginger. NARS the Multiple in Lamu made a guest appearance - Boehmer applied this bronzer on the cheeks, bridge of the nose and around the hairline. It's new for Summer 2010.

eyes. Kravitz's eyes are rimmed with NARS Eye Liner Pencil in Black Moon. The eyeshadow duo that Zoe is wearing is NARS Duo Eye Shadow in Pandora. The shades in this compact were applied to the outer corners and smudged near the lashline. Her mascara is NARS Larger Than Life Volumizing Mascara in Black.

cheeks. Does Zoe's blush look familiar? If so, it's because she's sporting a brown girl favorite - NARS Blush in Deep Throat.

lips. The shade of Zoe's lipstick is Cruising, which is a new shade for Spring 2010.

Zoe Kravitz is a stunner - no doubt about that. And when we learned that she was the current face of Vera Wang Princess (which I still want to try by the way), it came as no surprise. I'd like to think that the reason why Kimora Lee Simmons looks so off on the April/May 2010 issue of Los Angeles Confidential Magazine is because someone went a little too PhotoShop-happy. I may be blatantly wrong but her cheekbones almost overwhelm her face. In my opinion, Kimora is a gorgeous woman. I'll always appreciate the fact that she introduced fabulosity to the masses. Makeup by celebrity makeup artist Christopher Michael, who is also Kimora's makeup artist on her show, Life in the Fab Lane. Manicure by Jenna Hipp.

Celebrity hairstylist Marcia Hamilton created soft, romantic waves by using White Sands and IT&LY Hairfashion products. The hair looks Absolutely Phabulous:

>>Start out by spraying a volumizer from foot to ends, then brush product evenly throughout the hair.

>>Take small sections of hair, starting from the bottom of the head. Blow dry each section using a medium round bristle brush.

>>Next set the hair with using the 1.33 Inch White Sands Curling Iron. Pin each curl at the base then spray with a medium hold thermal hairspray for added hold and shine. Let the curls sit for a few minutes.

>>Unpin the curls then brush out while head is suspended upside down. This position creates added volume at the root.

>>Flip head back and shake the curls into place for a soft tussled look. Finish with a light mist of IT&LY Hairfashion Pure Definition Hairspray.
