My search for the shoes from this year's Rip the Runway was moderately easy - you can buy most of the styles from Shopsense. I noticed a few of you were inquiring about the ZiGiny pumps. These are a part of ZigiNY's Black Label line. Coming this Fall, you will be able to shop on the ZiGiny site so hopefully you will be able to buy the three styles seen on the show (keep your fingers crossed!).
Is this the Rhythm of Fashion?

From LaQuan Smith and Melody Ehsani---Designer LaQuan Smith took to his Facebook to give us a sneak peek of what to expect at this year's Rip the Runway. Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks is the latest celebrity to wear his hot pink tennis dress from his Spring 2011 collection. It makes me wonder if this dress was the official "uniform" for the hosts as Nicki Minaj wore a modified version at last year's Rip the Runway. She paired his LQS creation with patent nude pumps and jewelry from Melody Ehsani:

I've been really feeling Amber Riley lately - and her photoshoot by famed photographer Derek Blanks in Essence Magazine's "Black Women in Hollywood" Issue was so fabulous (but where are her knees?) that it inspired this post. If you have a similar figure, this sequin Silver Coin Dress ($450 for sizes 0-8, $525 for sizes 8-12) by LaQuan Smith will look just as tantalizing on you as it does on Amber. I think the strappy byzantine heels are a nice touch too - I'm happy that they didn't go with basic black! If you want to order this dress, contact Kelly.
Amber Riley is "every woman" here!

For those of you who aren't familiar with LaQuan Smith, he is a 21-year-old fashion designer. Yesterday, he held his first fashion show at the Society of Illustrators. Also, if you seen Rihanna's "Rude Boy" video, that gold jumpsuit that she's wearing? Yep, Smith designed that piece. Even Lady Gaga has been seen wearing one of his creations - specifically his gilded fishnet leggings. Other fans of his line include Amerie, Alicia Keys, Electrik Red, Livvi Franc and America's Next Top Model winner Jaslene Gonzalez.
Celebrity makeup artist Ashunta Sheriff was on hand yesterday, creating looks for LaQuan Smith's "Water Goddess" show. "The look for LaQuan Smith's Fall 2010 collection was exciting because it was his debut to the fashion world after such huge buzz for the last few years. We wanted to make it special. LaQuan's concept of water and sand inspired the sun glow goddess look we created using COVERGIRL and COVERGIRL Queen Collection," Sheriff revealed.
She applied CoverGirl Smoky Shadow Blast Shadow Stick in Bronze Fire
on the lids and completed the eye look with a few coats of CoverGirl LashBlast Length Mascara
. Urban Decay glitter eye liner was applied in the corner of the eye. To make the lips pop with brilliance, she mixed CoverGirl Shine Blast Lipgloss in Flare with MAC Pigment in Old Gold. CoverGirl Queen Collection Natural Hue Minerals Bronzer
was the driving force to give glowing radiant skin.

This dress was originally custom made for Nicki Minaj by designer LaQuan Smith. If you love the dress, please know that it will be available Spring 2011 as a part of his Hard Candy Collection. Save his website to your bookmarks because once this dress hits the 'net, it's going to be sold out. Good thing it's a part of his lower priced LQS line, right?

Check out Cassie in the Strawberries and Cream design below. She wore it last night at a party she hosted at 1Oak:
