This past Friday, I received an email from Creme of Nature about their "I Love Creme of Nature" campaign. In addition to the original five bloggers (Patrice, Sunshyne, Renee, Leila, and Nadege) that Creme of Nature featured in their inaugural print ad, they have decided to add five more. And surprisingly, Blaq Vixen Beauty was one of the five bloggers selected.
To see "LaKish of Blaq Vixen Beauty" in their press release was honestly unbelievable to me. However, it something that I desperately needed to see since earlier that day I had received some devastating news. It was a bittersweet moment but I'm thankful yet again for another promising opportunity.
It may seem strange that I was selected since I haven't really written any detailed Beauty Closet product reviews on Creme of Nature. When I was checking my website stats, I noticed that someone was directed to my site from the press release. Almost immediately, they searched for Creme of Nature. So I figured I should prepare myself for any backlash I might receive.
However, I have mentioned the Creme of Nature Professional Nourishing and Strengthening Treatment, their Detangling Conditioning Shampoo and the No-Lye Relaxer System with Organic Coconut and Sunflower Oils. I know I've tried their other products but I can't remember them at the moment. One of the questions that I've always receive is, 'What type of relaxer do you use on your hair?" More often than not I say, "Creme of Nature No-Lye Relaxer System with Organic Coconut and Sunflower Oils." Not only do I use but my mom and sister as well.
Creme of Nature just happens to be one of the brands that haven't been properly featured on Blaq Vixen Beauty. Of course, now that I'm in the "spotlight" for the brand, I'll definitely have to rectify that soon.
