How to Get Paula Patton's Makeup Look at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards

Man, this chick keeps glowing, and glowing, and glowing...thankfully celebrity makeup artist Mylah Morales was able to keep this radiant mama-to-be looking gorgeous.

face. "I started by applying shu uemura Brightening Cleansing Oil to clean up her skin and create an ideal canvas for foundation application. Next I applied Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in #8 and set the foundation with a sheer layer of shu uemura Face Powder Matte in 5YR Dark followed by CoverGirl Queen Collection Natural Hue Minerals Bronzer in Light Bronze for a gorgeous, bronze glow."

eyes. " To accentuate and enhance Paula’s stunning orange dress, I focused on gold and brown shades for her eyes. I applied gold powder shadow in the corners of her eyes followed by a layer of CoverGirl Smoky Shadow Blast Shadow Stick in Bronze Fire over her lid for a gorgeous red carpet eye look. I completed her eye look with a few swipes of CoverGirl LashBlast Length Mascara in Very Black for dramatic, ultra-long lashes."

cheeks. "To complete Paula’s overall look I applied NARS Powder Blush Cheek Color in Taj Mahal followed by shu uemura depsea water facial mist to lock-in Paula’s makeup and help it last her through the night."

lips. " For Paula’s lips, I kept them pretty natural and used a peachy shade of gloss that matched her natural lipcolor."

Stunning at the SAG: Paula Patton's Makeup at the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards

Paula Patton at the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild AwardsKate Hudson wasn't the only one walking the red carpet in ivory. Paula Patton arrived in a gorgeous J. Mendel gown that provided a bit of a challenge for celebrity makeup artist Fiona Stiles. "I wanted to avoid any bright pinks or tones that were too rosy with this beautiful J. Mendel dress since it could go bridal if we weren't careful." Since "pinks would scream bridal," Stiles stuck with an elegant palette of neutrals.

"I love using rusts and deep bronzes to create depth on eyes. The colors are warm and create shape without getting too muddy or dark. Playing up the highlights with a warm shimmery peach color adds striking luminosity without looking cold or ashy or dull," revealed Stiles.

[eyes] Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc in Peach Mosaic; Givenchy Prismissime Eyes in Tempting Chocolate; Lancome Virtuose Divine Lasting Curves Mascara in Black.

[cheeks] Bobbi Brown Illumininating Bronzer in Bahama (when was the last time you used bronzer as a blush?)

[lips] Cle de Peau Extra Silky Lipstick in #121.

Pretty for the People: How to Get Paula Patton's Flawless Face at the 2010 People's Choice Awards

I noticed that Paula Patton had the same radiant glow she had at the AFI Film Festival Premiere of Precious...well, let me tell the truth: she's always glowing! That's what she's known for and that is why she won the "Flawless Face" category in Essence's 2009 Celebrity Beauty Awards.

This is the type of glow you get with you've had lengthy, thorough sessions of "Sex Therapy" (I cannot get this song out of my head. I'm not even going to lie. Robin Thicke has grown on me!) Or, it could be the fact that she's pregnant! Yup, Paula attended the 2010 People Choice Awards with a cute little baby bump.

If you have a complexion similar to Paula's, the best way to get radiant skin is to mix "a silky foundation with a luminiscent tinted moisturizer." Celebrity makeup artist Fiona Stiles revealed, "It gives the prettiest and softest glow to the skin without making it too shimmery." For example, Stiles mixed Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in #8 ($58) with Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint in Bronzed and applied it as foundation. She then set it with a loose powder.

As I find out more information, I'll edit this post. Until then, what did you think of Paula Patton's look tonight?
