Kate Hudson wasn't the only one walking the red carpet in ivory. Paula Patton arrived in a gorgeous J. Mendel gown that provided a bit of a challenge for celebrity makeup artist Fiona Stiles. "I wanted to avoid any bright pinks or tones that were too rosy with this beautiful J. Mendel dress since it could go bridal if we weren't careful." Since "pinks would scream bridal," Stiles stuck with an elegant palette of neutrals.
"I love using rusts and deep bronzes to create depth on eyes. The colors are warm and create shape without getting too muddy or dark. Playing up the highlights with a warm shimmery peach color adds striking luminosity without looking cold or ashy or dull," revealed Stiles.
