Pharrell Glytone Skincare Regimen: Get Lucky!

Let’s get lucky with Pharrell Glytone skincare regimen!

Pharrell Williams, once a devout Cetaphil user, has switched up his skincare regimen. Living by the maxim “Cleanliness is next to godliness,” the ageless star laid down the first law of immaculate skin:

You have to clean your face. You can’t sit around and assume it’s going to be OK.  I wash my face every day – don’t be afraid to wash yours before you go to bed!

I, too, used Cetaphil for a spell before switching over to organic, cruelty-free skincare products from black-owned businesses. Sometimes, I use select products from Peter Thomas Roth, GlamGlow, and Ole Henriksen.

The second? Listening to one of our esteemed beauty legends of all time: Our Mother Naomi. The “Happy” visionary recalls some timeless beauty advice the supermodel bestowed upon him years ago:

Listen, this is what you have to do—you have to go to a dermatologist; you can’t keep using drugstore products.

Mr. Williams’s dermatologist is Dr. Elena Jones. Dr. Jones not only introduced him to the Glytone skincare line, but she sold him on the benefits of a quality toner! She recommended the $40 Acne Self-Foaming Cleanser followed by the $25 Acne Cleansing Toner and $30 Acne Treatment Lotion.

Did you know? Naomi’s facialist is Christine Chin. Chin uses microdermabrasion on her clients: “We start with a few glycolic peels and then use microdermabrasion to exfoliate. If a celebrity is going out that night, we go a little lighter.”

However, as much as I adore Miss Campbell, you can’t just cut drugstore skincare products completely out of the circle of trust! Even Pharrell acknowledges this:

Well, you can [use drugstore products], but with the store products you have to be really diligent. At the end of the day, you just have to take care of your face.

Say that, Benjamin Button.
