Watch Washington’s first Neutrogena® Visibly Even® Daily Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 daily lotion commercial that aired during the Scandal finale last night:
Kerry Washington, It girl for 2013, has a new calling: Brand Ambassador and creative consultant for Neutrogena. She will be the new face of the brand’s Visibly Even line.
The “Scandal” star suffered from acne, but now the sun is in her face, so to speak. She revamped her skin care regimen by switching to organic products. She frequents Pressed Juicery (the coconut shakes are her faves) and sips on Kimberly Snyder’s Glowing Green Smoothies to keep her skin flawless.
However, this is not to say that the actress doesn’t have her favorites from the brand. Of their Makeup Remover Wipes, she said:
I’ve always been really focused on the health of my skin. It’s not always about covering up flaws but taking good care of your skin. So I never go to sleep with makeup on,” she shared. “I’m very, very, very specific and strict about that. So I use the Neutrogena wipes, and they get everything. That really helps me know that when I go to bed I’m not taking all that makeup I’ve been wearing all day at work to bed with me so my skin can breathe.
If you were to see Washington’s bathroom counter in her teenage years, you’d probably find a bottle or two of Neutrogena’s Oil Free Acne Wash. Check out more of her favorites below:

Washington will be performing a myriad of duties like “[offering] feedback about products in action” and “co-creating marketing initiatives to pitch product to different audiences” through Twitter and Facebook, no doubt.
And what does Washington think of her latest gig? She gushed:
The more I learned about the company’s values, guiding principles, and commitment to quality, the more I realized that Neutrogena is so much more than your average beauty company. I knew I wanted to be a part of a company that is helping to make a difference in people’s lives. As a creative consultant, I will be able to have a real voice inside this amazing company, which is a tremendously exciting endeavor.
Lovely! I cannot wait to see what improvements and suggestions Washington brings to the brand.
