Tagged as “one of the industry’s most beautiful rising stars,” Jasmine Tookes recently started in a video titled “In the Light” in which she showcased three inspirational makeup looks created by makeup artist Lisa Houghton.

The first look, Nude Glow, is “an elegant and ‘natural’ look” composed of two elements: a dramatic brow and radiant skin. The face glistened with NARS Sheer Glow Foundation and perfected with Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage. Next, a dusting of Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder warmed up the complexion.

The look is finally “in the light” with Pat McGrath’s favorite “shiny stick” Madina Chic and Shine Stick. This magical, luminescing lightsaber originates from Italy. It is the secret behind McGrath’s creation of dewy, glowing faces often seen on the runways.

“You just apply as a highlighter on the nose, cheeks, under the eyebrows, and on the cupid’s bow [of] the upper lip—it’s magic. If you ever hear Pat saying backstage, ‘Use the Shiny Stick on the bow!’ this is what she means. That’s the command,” divulges model Karlie Kloss.

Other highlighters include RMS Living Luminizer, NARS The Multiple, Benefit Watt’s Up!, Benefit High Beam, and Benefit Sun Beam. All of these options are available at your nearest Sephora and Ask for samples or have the sales associate teach you a tutorial at the Beauty Studio.

Finally, Houghton perked up the cheekbones with a sweep of Chantecaille Aquablush in Frivolous and lent the eyes a touch of drama with Make Up For Ever Kohl Pencil in Black.

The second look is appropriately named “Violet Fantasy” as it’s the most fantastic of three looks created for the video. Tookes shows off a glossy, ultraviolet lip dipped in luxury with Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Intense in Pearly Violet and magnified with Chanel Glossimer in Imaginaire.

NARS Blush in Mata Hari adorned the cheeks while MAC Eyeshadows in Woodwinked and Goldmine formed the golden eye. Several coats of Lancome Definicils Mascara in Deep Black finished the look.

“The Classic Red” grabbed third place with a sheer but shimmering khaki eye, courtesy of Burberry. The sensational red lip is Elizabeth Arden Exceptional Lipstick in Simply Red.
