Molly’s Anne Sofie Madsen Flower Boy Dress & Yellow Crisscross Strap Mules | Insecure Hella LA Fashion

Insecure Hella LA Fashion: Molly's H. Lorenzo Cold Open Denim Mini Dress

UPDATE [24 September 2017]: Molly wore an Anne Sofie Madsen Flower Boy Dress, available at FarFetch.

According to The Insecurialist, Molly allegedly wore an H. Lorenzo Cold Shoulder Denim Dress. I tried confirming with costume designer Ayanna James twice on Twitter but alas, my questions weren’t answered this time. However, I did learn this blue jean beauty came from Melina Matsoukas’ closet. Either I reached my quota or Ms. James is just tired of me tweeting her. 😂 Anyway, I searched the H. Lorenzo site to see if it was still available. I didn’t find it on the website. Then I took to Google to find a photo of the actual dress. Again, I received no confirmation. I’ll keep searching; I hope to receive a lead, if not the actual name and brand of Molly’s denim mini, by the end of this week. I do like these alternatives though:

Either way, I’m on the case! And, of course, I’ll update with my findings.

In the meantime, can we talk about Molly’s yellow crisscross mules? I have a strong inkling they’re by Gianvito Rossi since her suede navy heels are also by the brand. From this screenshot, I’m not sure if Molly opted for the satin or suede. However, they’re currently sold out, originally selling for $630 and on sale for $319. Luckily for all of us, Steven and Dolce Vita are selling their $109 Zada Satin Mules and $130 Henry Slip-On Mules, respectively. If you’re on a budget, check out NA-KD’s $59.40 Yellow Satin Cross Mule Heels:

Issa slipped on a maroon $39 Ecote Serena Sheer Knit Cropped Sweater (on sale now for $24.99) and a $59.95 Maeve Edessa Printed Skirt, last seen at Anthropologie, for Kiss & Grind. It’s also available right now in a size 4 on eBay. Am I the only one relieved that it didn’t work out with Felix?

Lawrence’s Commes des Garcons Play Polka Dot Cardigan

Wow, I still cannot get over the fact that Lawrence basically whored himself out for $46. Anyway, he agreed to “hang out” in a $590 Commes Des Garcons Play Polka Dot Cardigan. Ebay seller hahahasmile has a brand NWOT (new without tags) Commes Des Garcons Play Polka Dot Cardigan Sweater in size L going for $199 right now. You don’t have to bid; if you really need this cardigan, go shop!

Dro’s Topman Torn Paper Print Short Sleeve Casual Shirt & T. Nicole Designs Fidelis Collection Lion Head Bracelets | Insecure Hella LA Fashion

Although I’ve been tasked with finding Lawrence’s black leather sling pack from “Hella Questions,” I usually don’t report on what the male characters wear on the show. That is, until now. Dro attended Kiss & Grind in a $55 Topman Torn Paper Print Short Sleeve Casual Shirt, which is currently on sale for $37.40 on the official site and $27.99 at Nordstrom.

While browsing through the Insecure hashtag on Instagram, I discovered the brand of Dro’s bracelets.

Houston-based designer Tanesha Nicole Graham revealed yesterday that she collaborated with a stylist for her Fidelis Collection. Back in March, she sent 20 pieces from her curated collection to Ms.James in hopes that one of the characters would wear her bracelets on the show. Well, Graham received confirmation that Dro wore two $40 Matte Black Onyx & Rose Tone Micro Pave Bracelets from her Fidelis II Collection. Graham’s bracelets are unisex and feature a micro pave CZ accent bead. Here’s hoping we’ll see more of her arm candy in upcoming episodes and season 3!
