Recently, Harper’s Bazaar interviewed some of their favorite celebrities about their 2014 beauty resolutions. Among the interviewees was actress Kerry Washington and supermogul Iman.
Remove all of my makeup before I go to sleep regardless of how I feel! Iman
This one was quite easy as Harper’s Bazaar also did a “day in the life of” feature on Iman for their December 2010 issue. Of course, this was over three years ago but let’s see what the Somalian stunner used for her bedtime routine:
I start to get ready for bed by washing my face with SK-II Facial Treatment Cleanser, and then I apply my Iman Time Control Skin Tone Evener to keep my hyperpigmentation in check, followed by Iman Firm Defense Eye Cream. During the winter months, I also use SK-II Skin Signature Melting Rich Cream, and I apply Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Advanced Therapy for added hydration.
To do more super nourishing deep conditioning treatments on my hair on the days that I’m not working. Kerry Washington
Celebrity hairstylist Takisha Sturdivant-Drew shared on her Tumblr blog her “secret weapon” for protecting Kerry’s tresses: Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask. She explained, “You can use this mask weekly [or biweekly] with or without heat [for 20 minutes], and it will give your hair a soft, glossy look. Remember, if your hair looks good[,] so do you.” Sturdivant-Drew also shared that Washington uses Neutrogena Triple Moisture Shampoo and Neutrogena Triple Repair Conditioner “every day for a really nice shine and healthy condition.”
