As a chick who doesn't take the time to wear accessories anymore, I am absolutely loving that the most popular trend nowadays is to jazz up your own fingernails. This has been the ultimate accessory for me since high school!
Case in point, celebutante Amber Rose visited the Wendy Williams show recently with a long, pointed manicure. As you may remember, stiletto nails was one of the hot nail trends Julia Werman, the co-owner of Valley Nail Salon, mentioned for 2011. Obviously it's not for everyone but it's a worth a try if you consider yourself a fearless beauty fanatic.
Amber Rose took this fearless talon trend a step further as her tapered, triangular tips gleamed with a glossy, jet black sheen. She Knows included this particular nail fad as part of their Summer 2011 nail trends. It also reminded me of the glossy, inky black nails we saw at L.A.M.B.'s Fall 2011 show.
