Editor's Note: I originally received the Clinique Even Better Skin Tone Corrector and the Clinique Even Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer SPF 20 from an InStyle Trendsetter product trial ("Sampling Girly: In Style in Clinique"). The one shown in the picture is the one I bought as a replacement. I also bought the Clinique Even Better Makeup SPF 15. Yesterday, I ventured to my nearest Clinique counter and picked up the Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector! Consider this a first look! By the way, the background is my violet, feather boa that Purple Lab NYC sent me!

I noticed quite a few of you were Googling the Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector so I just went ahead and bought it at my PX here on Fort Sam Houston. I'm thrilled that I was able to get it for around $7 less than the MSRP.
Are you excited? Want to know how I plan to use all of these products in a regimen?
As you can see above, I have the makings of a Clinique Even Better regimen that I am thinking about doing. However, since I'm planning to use the Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector to tackle my darkest spots (which are actually on my cheekbones/cheeks/chin areas), I'm putting the original Even Better Skin Tone Corrector aside (for now). I find it curious that Clinique changed the name from "Skin Tone Corrector" to "Dark Spot Corrector"...
Here's a tentative skin regimen that I just created:
Step 1. Apply Clinical Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector with a Q-tip on dark spots in the morning. I'll use a Q-tip to ensure that the serum is placed directly on the spot and not the areas surrounding the spot.
Step 2. Follow up with Clinique Even Better Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer SPF 20. I actually have to go out and buy another one.
When Clinique decided to reformulate the Skin Tone Corrector, they should have reformulated the moisturizer as well. I think it's great that the Clinique added SPF to the moisturizer in the first place and it's commendable that it was SPF 20 instead of the usual SPF 15 we usually see. I'd like to see them raise the SPF to at least 30 if not more. I might alternate between the Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer and Jan Marini AntiOxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 30.
*Edit:* Actually, I'll use Ambi Even & Clear Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30. I'll be putting it to good use.
Step 3. Depending how I feel, I'll apply the Clinique Even Better Makeup SPF 15 in Ginger with my BeautyBlender.
Step 4. At night, I'll apply Clinical Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector (with a Q-tip of course) to my spots.
Step 5. Apply Jan Marini Age Intervention Enlighten Facial Lotion. I don't want to go in detail about this product or the Face Protectant in this post so I'll just write a separate post about why I'm using these two products in my Clinique regimen.
Now all I have to do is take a cute "before" picture!
