I've been mildly obsessed with the look Keyshia Cole is sporting on her latest CD A Different Me (I have the Intro, Make Me Over, Please Don't Stop, and the Outro on repeat). So when I saw Ms. Just Like You rocking the same look on the March 2009 issue of Sophisticate's Black Hair Styles and Care Guide, I knew I had to buy it to see how to recreate the look:
face. Makeup artist
Reginald A. Dowdley used
Kevyn Aucoin The Dew Drop Powder Foundation Compact
to help prepare Keyshia for the spotlight. "It gives her a really nice, clean look. She has beautiful skin, but the coverage really evens it out." He also layered bronze cheek color. "Because Keyshia is so fair-skinned, I like to warm her skin up with a cream moisturizer, set it with powder and bronze up her cheeks really well," he shares.
eyes. Did you know that Keyshia's favorite feature is her eyes? Dowdley played them up with M.A.C. eyeshadow in Carbon and Shadowy Lady. "I paint on silver and glitter and feather it out at the crease a little bit," he revealed. "I also gave her luscious lashes on top and bottom." A coat of Dior DiorShow Mascara in Black
completes the look. "It really pops the lashes and makes them long, luscious, and full!" Dowdley exclaims.
lips. Keyshia's sexy glossed lips were made courtesy of Kevyn Aucoin The Flesh Tone Lip Pencil in Bare
and M.A.C. lipstick in Taupe. "Then I did a nude pink gloss on top of that to give her a really intense depth of nude pink lips," Dowdley details.

I love Keyshia Cole and her new album and look at off the hook stunning. She's hot! I would definitely rock it.
