As a continuation of my previous Johnson's Baby post ("Baby Got Your Back: The Johnson Triangle of Baby Oil, Baby Powder and Baby Wash"), I was recently invited to take their "Blog For Beauty Challenge" in which I have to use Johnson's Baby products for one month and report my findings at least once a week. I also have to find inventive beauty and household uses for them as well. I already know how challenging that will be!
But first, I wanted to inject some Vintage Vibe Vixen wisdom, specifically from the Summer 2006 issue. One of the questions beauty editor Baze Mpinja (@beautybybaze) answered was whether or not you need to use baby powder in the summertime. Mpinja responded, "When the sun is blazing, body powders can help you avoid stick situations. To keep clothes from clinging to you when you sweat, look for brands that contain cornstarch or talc because they keep skin dry. Cornstarch also reduces body odor." Cornstarch has highly absorbing properties.
So whip out Johnson's Baby Pure Cornstarch Powder (I have the Magnolia Petals scent), apply a little on a powder puff and apply it like a body veil to absorb extra moisture. If you want subtle sparkle, you can try mixing it with a shimmering body powder and apply it that way. Wouldn't it be nice if baby powder came with SPF? :)
What are some of your favorite uses for baby powder?

You can use baby powder on your hair, when it is extra oily. Be careful though a little goes a long way.
