Since I'm still testing these babies out, I thought I would at least post swatches of the shades that I received in the mail. I was able to test drive Paint the Town yesterday but I don't feel exactly comfortable about posting a review yet. Just know that the formula is definitely different now. Off the top of my head, one aspect of this new lipstick collection is the smell and taste. It has a sweet Playdoh type of smell that doesn't disappears even after you apply it. For some reason, I was still able to smell it even after I applied it on my lips. To my knowledge, I didn't experience this with the old CoverGirl Queen lipsticks.
But in the meantime, CoverGirl teamed up with celebrity makeup artist Ashunta Sheriff to produce five looks--R&B Rebel, Pop Goddess, Lyrical Queen, Neo-Soulstress and Ultimate Icon--with select shades from the CoverGirl Queen Lip Color Collection. Watch below:
